Trusted Equity Solutions (the “Organization”) respects the privacy concerns of the users of its website hosted on Squarespace and the services provided through that website (the “Site”). This privacy statement explains what information is gathered during a visit to the Site and how that information may be used.
Governing law and venue.
The Site is offered from the United States. The Organization administers its affairs and this Site with reference to the laws of Wyoming state and Delaware state. Except where a mandatory consumer or privacy law of your place of residence cannot be waived, questions arising out of this Privacy Policy or your use of the Site shall be governed by the laws of Wyoming and, as applicable to the Organization’s Delaware activities, Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Equity Jurisdiction and Courts sitting in Wyoming and Delaware are the intended forums for disputes that must be heard in court in the event resolution can not be found among the claimant and the Organization.
Squarespace as host and processor.
The Site is designed, hosted, and delivered on the Squarespace platform. Your use of the Site is also subject to Squarespace’s own terms and privacy practices. Please review:
Squarespace Terms of Service: https://www.squarespace.com/terms-of-service
Squarespace Privacy Policy: https://www.squarespace.com/privacy/
Squarespace cookie information: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001264507
Squarespace acts as the Organization’s service provider / data processor for content you submit through the Site (for example, form entries stored on the Site). Squarespace also acts as an independent controller for certain technical data it automatically receives when anyone visits a Squarespace-hosted site, including IP address and cookie data used to operate and secure the platform. This Privacy Policy covers processing for which the Organization is responsible. It does not replace Squarespace’s policy.
Use of information.
As a general policy, the Organization does not automatically collect your name, postal address, or email address merely because you open a page. Squarespace’s servers and analytics tools do, however, record certain technical information in the ordinary operation of the Site. That information typically includes:
browser type and version
operating system and device information
IP address
referring website or page
pages viewed, clicks, internal links, scrolling, searches, and timestamps
approximate location derived from IP address
unique visitor and session identifiers used by Squarespace Analytics
The Organization uses this information for legitimate business interests: to operate and secure the Site, understand traffic, improve content and services, and respond to inquiries. The Organization does not sell or lease personally identifiable information to third parties. With your permission, contact information you provide may be used to send you information about the Organization. You may opt out as provided below.
Information you choose to give.
Contact forms, consultation requests, mailing lists, downloads, registration forms, and similar tools may ask for your name, email, phone, mailing address, and the substance of your inquiry. That information is used only as needed for the Organization’s legitimate business interests, including responding to you and improving the Site and services. The Organization may share it with service providers who help deliver those functions (including Squarespace and, if you pay online, the payment processor). The Organization does not store full credit-card numbers except as needed to complete a transaction you request; card data is handled by the payment processor (commonly Stripe when enabled on Squarespace).
Legal process and safety.
The Organization may disclose user information when it has reason to believe disclosure is necessary to identify, contact, or bring action against someone who may be injuring or interfering with the Organization’s rights or property, other users of the Site, or others who could be harmed.
Children age 16 and under.
If you are 16 years old or younger, the Organization asks that you not submit personal information to the Site. If the Organization discovers that a child age 16 or younger has provided personally identifiable information, that information will be deleted from the Organization’s records.
Cookies.
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies placed by Squarespace:
Necessary cookies so the Site can load securely, keep a session, and protect forms (for example, CSRF protection such as the crumb cookie). These are required for the Site to function.
Analytics and performance cookies used by Squarespace Analytics (including identifiers such as ss_cid, ss_cvr, ss_cvisit, ss_cvt, and ss_cpvisit) to estimate unique visitors, sessions, traffic sources, and on-site activity. These cookies may last from thirty minutes up to two years.
You may refuse non-essential cookies through the Site’s cookie banner (if enabled) or through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may slow or limit parts of the Site. If Google Analytics, advertising pixels, embedded video, maps, or other third-party tools are later connected to the Site, those services set their own cookies under their own policies.
Malware / spyware / viruses.
Neither the Organization nor the Site knowingly permits malware, spyware, viruses, or similar software.
Links to external sites.
The Organization is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites linked from the Site, including Squarespace’s own corporate sites. Review each site’s privacy policy before disclosing information there.
Bulletin boards and chat areas.
If the Site offers comments, forums, or similar public areas, you are solely responsible for what you post. Information you volunteer there can be collected by others.
Choice / opt-out.
Where the Site offers a way to receive communications, you may opt in at the point of collection. To stop future email, use the unsubscribe instructions in the message. If that fails, email TrustedEquitySolutions@tutamail.com with a copy of the unwanted message and a request to be removed.
Transfer of information across borders.
The Site is hosted on Squarespace infrastructure, which may process data in the United States and other locations. When you use the Site, personal information may be transferred outside the country where you sit. Squarespace publishes its own transfer and privacy terms. The Organization does not operate separate servers in every visitor’s country.
Your access and control.
To request deletion of an account or of information you submitted without an account, email the same address with the subject “Delete Account” or “Delete My Information.”
Squarespace’s role as platform provider is addressed in Squarespace’s privacy policy and data-processing terms.
Security.
The Organization and Squarespace use technical, administrative, and physical measures intended to protect personal information. Only people who need the information to do their work are granted access. No transmission over the internet is guaranteed to be 100% secure. By sending information through the Site, you accept that you do so at your own risk.
Acceptance.
By using the Site, you accept this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. This policy may be revised by updating this posting. You should review this page from time to time.
